2010 Annual General Meeting - The Tanglewood AGM was held on Thursday October 28, 2010, 7 p.m. at the Tuscany Club. At that time the new board members were elected for the 2010 - 2011 year. At this meeting there was difficulty in establishing a quorum. As such, there were delays in completing the meeting. The lack of owners in attendance has meant that there are only 4 board members to administrate the Associations operations. We would encourage any interested owner to volunteer their services to ensure their is sufficient manpower to accomplish our goals.

Road Maintenance - Tanglewood has completed road repairs by having All-Star Paving apply a uniform centerline patch. The board is very pleased with the initial results and is optomistic that this repair will be hardier than the previous patching.
***
Swale Maintenance - It can sometimes be a messy job, but clearing swales of debris such as leaves, soil, rocks and garbage is essential to the drainage flow of the neighbourhood.
***
Snow Removal -The matter of snow removal is a year round topic of discussion for the Tanglewood Board of Directors.
***
Fence Policy Update - Check before you build. The
Courtyard Fencing Policy has recently been updated based on the
Tanglewood by-laws and architectural guidelines. All fencing projects must be approved by the board. The Tanglewood Board of Directors is made up of volunteers from the community. They do their best to address requests in a timely manner. Please plan accordingly and allow plenty of time for the board to review your request.

Parking - Residents are reminded that the parking policy is in effect. A
letter was sent to homeowners in January 2009 reminding everyone of our obligations to fairness and safety in our community regarding Parking. Parking enforcement is conducted by the City of Calgary Parking Authority.

City of Calgary Blue Bin Program - Tanglewood is currently not participating in the City Blue Bin program due to cost and other factors. The Board of Directors will continue to monitor any future changes to the terms that are proposed for condominiums.
Tanglewood is a Condominium Corporation and are not subject to automatic participation in the Blue Box program. Homeowners are not charged the City's $8 per month per resident for their recycling program on their utility bills. The per-resident cost of Tanglewood's current recycling pickup program is $7.75 so there is no significant cost difference.
